The Ragged Point Inn and Resort is only a small family owned business but as you can see it has gotten quite a few good write ups and reviews by the media. Travel media and local newspapers have often praised the Ragged Point Inn and Resort. Sunset magazine said that the hotel rooms aren't big or fancy but comfortable and that the incredible ocean views made up for it. The breathtaking rugged California Pacific Coastal views are one of the resorts greatest assets, the rooms are comfy, the food and drink anywhere at the resort is almost always delicious and well served.

The reviews on the hotel resort and restaurant from the general public are mixed but mostly positive; sure there are a couple of real bad reviews but bad things happen at the best of resorts and people who have a really bad experience at a restaurant or resort hotel are much more likely to write a review and some people like to complain:

The restaurant onsite served delicious food..."; Another recent visitor wrote: "This resort is located in a truly spectacular location. There are beautiful ocean views from almost every room. The grounds are lovely, the staff were very nice..." and one more 2011 resort guest quote: “This was our second stay. The property is beautiful and relaxing. We loved the ocean views and enjoyed the hike to the beach - very steep, be careful! The comfort and cleanliness of the room was great. The housekeeping staff were efficient and accommodating…”
